About Comrie Development Trust

Comrie Development Trust works for the benefit of the people of Comrie. We have four aims: supporting the local community, environmental sustainability, the local economy and promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of Cultybraggan Camp and the Comrie Area.

As part of our work we manage Cultybraggan Camp, a former 2WW POW camp. The Nissen huts are used for many community purposes including a museum, 9 charities or community groups, 54 tenants, a community orchard, woodland and allotment area.
We always need volunteers to help maintain the 2WW Nissen huts and manage the grounds.
We are also a community hub for a range of different groups who also welcome volunteers including the Comrie Heritage Group (to provide tours/support the museum), the Comrie Community Orchard (1st Sunday of the Month, 11-3), the Comrie Community Woodland (3rd Sunday of the month 10-3).
We host different charities and community groups including the Comrie Men's Shed and PKC Duke of Edinburgh.
We are a welcoming community and have a range of volunteering opportunities.
