The Strathmore Community Hub (SCH) is a newly refurbished disabled friendly community space in the heart of Coupar Angus, Perthshire. The aims of the SCH are to promote wellbeing, reduce social isolation and promote social cohesion
particularly among older members of the population by providing a well-equipped and welcoming place for its users. We provide recreational facilities, and organise other activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended. The SCH also operates a community café and catering facility with flexible spaces and multiple rooms for small businesses who promote health and wellbeing and room bookings from community and commercial groups. The charity is registered with the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) – SC047244 and reports to the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
