Board Member

• Diverse Skill Sets: We welcome applicants with experience in areas such as finance, marketing, fundraising, legal, retail, or community engagement. Prior experience as a board member is helpful but not essential.
• Creative Enthusiasts: An appreciation for the arts and crafts and their role in fostering community connections and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Governance: Provide oversight and governance, ensuring that Nest Creative Spaces meets its mission and adheres to its values.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with fellow board members to develop and implement strategies that drive the organisation’s growth and sustainability.
• Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for Nest Creative Spaces, helping to build relationships and partnerships within the local community and beyond.
• Fundraising & Financial Oversight: Support fundraising initiatives and provide input on financial planning to ensure the financial health of the organisation.
• Mentorship & Support: Offer guidance and support to the operational team, helping to foster a positive and creative working environment.
