As one of our highly valued volunteers you will play a vital role in schools in ensuring that children's voices are heard and they are protected from abuse.Detailed description
Do you want to be part of something special? Do you believe that children should be safe and happy? Would you join our amazing team to play a vital role in protecting children?
Two days each month you will be in local primary schools with the volunteer team. You will present workshops to children age 6-7 and 9-11, helping them to understand abuse and giving them confidence to speak out if they need help.
If you are
- passionate about spending time with children
- excited about communicating with others;
- empathetic, supportive and perceptive;
- able to think on your feet;
- keen to work as part of a team;
you have the qualities that could make you a great fit for our volunteer team.
Our volunteers make a huge difference for children in Scotland, they tell us that they learn and develop new skills and love being part of a friendly team of like minded people.

The role will involve travelling to primary schools in the Perth area. Travel expenses are paid. Successful applicants are asked to complete routine safeguarding checks as part of the recruitment process. We provide training and support throughout your time with us.
